Mikael Samuelsson is one of Sweden 's most popular interpreters of music by the Swedish eighteenth century poet and troubadour, Michael Bellman. This particular recording is focused one of Bellman's more colorful characters, Movitz. A lacerated man marked with too much booze and too little libido.
Mikael is here accompanied by two legendary musicians in the folk music genre, Björn Ståbi on violin and Bengan Jansson on accordion.
