Intimate - jazzy - and somewhat naivistic
Blåeld (Echium vulgare) play together. This might seem to be a commonplace statement, but it is a behavior that is not too common. The common result of this is, as a matter of fact, far more than the sum of the individual parts. The music has its roots in Swedish vocal jazz tradition, without the outbursts, where intimacy is a keyword. The unaffected voice of Lisa Löfgren is in focus and captures the listener immediately. The rest of the band joins in. Timeless, Blåeld walks on its own paths. Hang on!
The album Aurora contains solely original compositions with Swedish lyrics, most of them written by the singer, Lisa Löfgren. The musical inspiration is taken from classical music, as well as traditional jazz and pop music. The fusion of these sources make up the unique sound that characterizes Blåeld.
